rAge or “really Awesome gaming Event” broke the Southern Hemisphere LAN record with 1500 gamers.
This past weekend in Johannesburg, South Africa, rAge reared its gaming/technology head again. There were all the goodies and stuff related to Gaming and its culture… Games, Anime, Game.Dev (yes, our community was there) and Booth Babes.

This link has a video showing some NAG LAN @ rAge footage. rAge also marked the Wii launch in South Africa. It is priced a bit steep, but it remains to be seen how it will fare in South Africa.

I wish I could’ve been there as there were really interesting talks from South African game developers! Oh well, next year I am planning on going.
