I know most of you has played Popcap’s latest game Peggle Deluxe. It is extremely addictive and fun, etc.
Another thing that oozes out of it despite everyone’s drool at watching a ball bounce everywhere, is Peggle’s impeccable polish!
I mean, most indie devs dream of having the time and patience to polish a game to death like Peggle. It has sooo much polish, up to the point where it begins to become nauseatingly polished.
Listen to this. After a session in Peggle, I planned to do some devving on RT2. So, sitting on the main menu, I discovered that the Buttons in the main menu sounds different when you hover over each one.
Not only that, but it is from high to low!
I couldn’t resist! I just had to play a tune of “Mary had a little lamb” on the menu buttons.
What game can claim to have that?
Kudos to PopCap!
