So, as some might know, I contribute to Dev.Mag. It is an online game dev magazine free to anyone!

I forgot to post last time, but Issue 11 and Issue 12 of Dev.Mag has already been released! Get it here.

The highlights of those issues include I-Imagine’s history (South Africa’s first licenced developer) + an interview with Luma. They are pioneering game development in South Africa. They are building a game for MINI South Africa. It is close to its first (episodic) release. It looks beautiful. Check it out.

Anyway, on to my topic.

We had an internal writing competition for Dev.Mag 10 a while back. I was one of 3 writers who went away with cash in their bank. It is R300. It is about $42. Although it is not “that” much, I am stoked since it is my 1st paycheck for… “anything” really!

If asked what I would do with the R300, I will most likely spend it all to pay off the artists working on Roach Toaster 2. whooo!

I have stuff to say about Roach Toaster 2, but I will most likely leave it for a next blog post.
